October 2011: Diploma in Technology-Enhanced Learning

Are you a 21st century teacher? Get prepared for the challenge.
This new course being offered by the Centre for Educational Technology, Research and Innovation with the Faculty of Education, UOM is a 2 year, part-time course and will commence in October 2011. The course will be held on Mon and Thurs from 16:00 to 19:00. The maximum number of participants will be 17.

The course aims to help teachers to develop a vision based on 21st century skills, key pedagogical models and emerging technologies and practices. It aims to develop skills in designing technology-enhanced teaching and learning across the curriculum. It will engage in technology-intensive collaborative learning environments and professional growth.

The course is eligible for the Get Qualified scheme at the Malta Enterprise.
Requirements: – A recognized teaching qualification
– ICT-related competences (basic ECDL level)
